What should I not bring to a gender reveal?
Since the party is a gender reveal do not bring any gender specific items! If you can hold off on the usual baby items that’s great! The gender reveal gift should be more about the mother since the baby shower will have so many baby items.
Shockingly most of the mothers I quizzed preferred not to receive any baby clothes. So many people gift them and many end up never being worn!
What types of gifts are best for a gender reveal?
Most mamas agreed that the best types of gifts are ones that are not already on their baby registry. Something especially for the mama is best since the baby shower will be all things baby!
You can bring the over rated non gender neutral clothes but if you really want to bring something that you know nobody is going to bring and will be appreciated by the mama to be, scroll below.

That is completely up to your budget and preference. Most people like to do smaller price tags because they will be spending a lot on the baby shower.

That is up to you! Some like to buy a present only for the mama at the gender reveal and buy baby items for the baby shower. Many mamas are not expecting a gift at the gender reveal because they are having a baby shower.

Many are listed above. After researching and asking fellow mamas most wanted a non baby item since that is what they will be getting at the baby shower. Think pregnancy journals, back massagers, belly lotion, bath items pregnancy pillow etc. Anything with “mom” and “dad” are great since they are celebrating becoming new parents.

Since you do not know the gender yet, nothing gender specific. Most mamas did not prefer baby clothes or items for a gender reveal gift but of course they would still be appreciated, do what your heart desires.

What Are Gender-Neutral Colors? Light browns, greys, black and white are all gender-neutral colors. Of course other colors could work too but these are very safe. It is important to pick a style that is appropriate for both genders. If you pick a tan tutu that may not be appreciated if it is a boy!
