How to Kiss Cut Stickers Without a Machine!

Video tutorial will be at the end.

Have you ever printed printable stickers for your bullet journal but then feel frustrated because you end up have to cut out a ton of stickers? This method saves you time and allows the stickers to STAY on the sheet! You peel them off as you use them just like when you buy the sticker packs at the store. Printable stickers saves you a TON of money! You also get many more options when you buy printable stickers, and can print them multiple times.

Supplies

You will need to print your stickers on sticker paper, my favorite is THIS, a ruler, any will do but I am using THIS ruler it comes with a 6 inch which I love and use a lot. An Xacto knife and possibly a round object you can find. I pictured a circle ruler but I now prefer THIS helix ruler and it is actually tricky to use the circle ruler so I don’t suggest buying it unless you’d like it to trace circles for drawing. You will also need scrap paper so you do not scratch your table.

Scrap Paper Underneath then Line it up

Make sure to put scrap paper underneath to prevent scratches on your table. I suggest 5 regular printer paper pages or 1 thick card stock. Take your ruler and line it up.

XActo Knife Time

Press the xActo knife against the ruler and pull towards you. I am using 4/10 pressure 10 being the hardest. You want to press hard enough to cut the sticker paper but not the backing of the sticker paper. Make sure your XActo knife is not dull.

Result of too much pressure

This is the back of the sticker paper. If you press too hard this will happen. If this happens it is not a big deal at all! As long as it’s not too much pressure for every single line you do. It is easy to figure out your pressure. It took me 2 minutes to get the hang of it.

Tips

I like to do all my vertical lines then turn the page and finish the rest of the lines. Look how great this turned out! After I finish all my lines I look very close and make sure I did not miss any cuts. You will be able to see where the cuts are. Stickers usually have a white border so I choose to do that since it is easier.

Circles

I usually cut ALL shapes into rectangles, if you are putting them in a white bullet journal you will not be able to see the line anyways, it is just easier to do the ruler method for all. If you want to cut a circle sticker into a circle I suggest finding an object of the circle size and tracing. You can try to use the helix ruler but I find tracing around an object is much easier. Again I do suggest to cut all shapes into rectangles. You could also pull the cut sticker up and cut the rest of the sticker with scissors to make the odd shape if you desire.

Circle Tracing Result

I cut 12 US Letter size pages of stickers in 15 minutes! Since you are “slicing” and not cutting out each sticker with scissors it goes by really quick.

Peel the Stickers

See how the stickers just peel off the page? Life changing. If you love the convenience of peeling stickers from a sheet this is the method for you. It might seems complicated at first but I promise it is so easy!

Storage

I like to store my stickers in a binder in THESE clear dividers. This allows me to flip through the pages and easily see all my stickers. I keep like stickers together. So in this clear divider I keep all my creatures of the night stickers.

I Stressed

It takes a lot of time to create a bullet journal. I started to feel over whelmed so I created these stickers to help me out! I still get to create my own spreads but now I don’t spend countless hours, I just don’t have as much time as I used to. I am about to be a mom! I have a ton of other printables in my SHOP.
