May Bullet Journal Ideas FOR BUSY MOMS
EASY Set Up Bullet Journal
Hey Sunflowers!
This month I went BOLD! I usually don’t like such bright colors but I feel like it’s fitting for Cinco De Mayo! These premade bullet journal printables makes bullet journaling a breeze. I started creating printables when I realized I just don’t have time to spend 10 hours setting up my monthly setups! So then I spent even more time creating planner printables haha but now you get to use them too! It’s truly a passion of mine.
These Cindo De Mayo printable planner pages of course go perfectly together with the other monthly bullet journal starter kits. Whether you use a hard bound or binder journal these printables work! Being a new mom I do not have time to even think about creating pages from scratch. These pages keep me happy since I still get to have an aesthetic bullet journal with very little time! I have so much fun coloring these each month.

Bullet Journal Title Page
This month I had drew the “May” okay I know I know, I’ve never actually have used the monthly stickers but that is because I love creating my own lettering! The stickers that come with this is in a pretty brush calligraphy style.
Bullet Journal Calendar Layouts 1 Page
I love the one page calendar that way I don’t have to mess with making sure the 2 page is side by side! I used a fine micron to write the small dates. pssttt items used are at the bottom of this blog.
Bullet Journal Title Page and Calendar
I like to start out with each month with the cover page and one page calendar. They look great right next to each other. Plus I like to see these pages first when I open up to the current month.
Bullet Journal Monthly Recap
This page includes a recap of your favorite memories, gratitude, self care, tasks, and what is currently happening in your life. Last month my favorite memory for April was watching my baby hunt for eggs her first time! She put the eggs in her bucket like she had already done it before it was so precious. The colors I used for this month were 2 markers from my Crayola Super tips (I named them myself and apparently named one wrong I wrote c5 for both!) and a Tombow Brush Pen 946. The reason I named my Crayolas was to make a corresponding color key of all the colors on one page so I can see all the colors at once. I wrote the name of each color on the pen with a sharpie.
Side by Side Habit Tracker and Monthly Recap
Here is a zoomed out picture of these spreads.
Health Meter Bullet Journal Ideas
This comes as a mood tracker but has a no heading option. I used the no heading option and wrote health meter. I use it to log my healthy (and not so healthy) eating habits. 1 means junk food all day and 5 means I was a perfect angel. I like to be at a 4 most of the time, I know if I am a 5 every day I will just binge. I am realistically at a 2-3 each day haha. This is not a good idea if you get too obsessed with it or it makes you feel terrible about yourself, we don’t want that!!
Habit Tracker Printable
Habit trackers are meant to be used for things that you want to track every day ideally, but you can use it for weekly things and even monthly things! I usually make one of the habits for my period. Just trying to kick that habit, kidding of course. I also use it for audible, workouts, body scrub (aiming for 2x a week) changing my eye contacts, etc.
2 Page Vertical Weekly Spread
There are a few things you can do with the empty title page. I like to simply add “May” I forgot to before this picture. You can write the week duration “23-29” or you can write a word for the week, such as believe, focus, be kind.
Vertical 2 Page Weekly Spread
This page took 1 minute to add some flare. I added super simple squiggly lines and circle and topped it off with some stickers from hobby lobby. I’ve had these stickers lying around a few years now, how perfect is that taco sticker?!
2 Page Weekly Spread
Here is the 2 page weekly spread side by side. You get the most room to write with this layout. It is good if you like to add large stickers or write really big in a pretty font.
1 Page Horizontal Weekly Spread
Are you team horizontal or vertical? I have fun using each layout option because it makes me feel more creative. I write in big pretty for for the 2 page spread, a quote in each for this horizontal layout and a few words to sum up my day for the one page vertical.
1 Page Vertical Layout
I have a feeling I am only going to eat tacos and drink margaritas all of May. Well, at least I will have a reason this month, ha!
1 Page Vertical no text
I had wrote the days of the week, most pages come with different options, making it fully customizable! I added simple confetti to spruce it up, I love an aesthetic bullet journal.
Bullet Journal Notes Ideas
This came with just the taco on the page, I added the confetti. I love to just write my thoughts during the month here.
budget tracker bullet journal printable
I use the lined blank page to write out my expenses. At the end of the month I check my mint app and write my expenses for food and shopping since those are really the only ones I can control.
Supplies
The A5 binder journal is from Ali Express here. The rings are larger than most standard A5 binders so you can fit more pages in it!
Tombow Dual Brush Pens - a few different sets I used color 946.
Crayola Super Tips a red and green
Tombow Small nibbed brush pen
A5 Paper The pages are bright white and thick so there is no ghosting which is really important to me!
Clear Ruler 6 and 12 inch do not always need but this is so handy
Micron Fine Liners For doodles and thin lines. I used 02 and 01 those are my favorite especially since some boxes you need to write pretty small on A5 size
Various Stickers and washi tape from hobby lobby
Printable Planner Pages and Stickers
It takes a lot of time to create a bullet journal. I started to feel over whelmed so I created stickers and pre-made bullet journal pages to help me and others out! I still get to create my own spreads but now I don’t spend countless hours, I just don’t have as much time as I used to, now I’m a mom! I have a ton of printables in my SHOP. I appreciate your support! The below self care journal has monthly themes and is witchy inspired!
