January Bullet Journal Setup | New Year Theme

If you’re looking for January bullet journal ideas to start the year organized and inspired, I’m so excited to share my full January bullet journal setup! As a new mom, I don’t have as much time as I used to, so I’ve been relying on printable bullet journal pages to make planning faster and less overwhelming. This month I’m using a binder-style A5 bullet journal, which gives me the flexibility to add, remove, and rearrange pages whenever I need.

January Cover Page Happy New Years Theme

The Premade Journal with Doodles bundle comes with printable stickers if you don’t want to write the month yourself. All the doodles aside from the confetti were already on the page. I just filled them in with color from the new Archer and Olive pens I just got. So far I love them.

Habit Tracker

The habit tracker comes with 9 trackers. I feel like this is the perfect amount. Not too many and not too few. My favorite things to track are my workouts and prenatals. I like to write in the first habit in pencil as if it were a calendar than throughout the month I just fill in the day with color while looking at the first tracker. I don’t actually write the numbers in each habit, does that make sense?

1 page Calendar

I love this one page calendar because it’s so easy to print. There is a two page calendar option as well if you prefer a bigger calendar. For me there is still enough room in this small calendar to write at least 2 appointments. In the blank box I drew and apple and a shopping bag because I like to figure out the grand total amount spent for food and shopping. I take a look at my mint app to make it easy

Favorite Memories Etc.

This page is so fun. It makes you remember all the good moments from the month. There is a blank box, use your imagination! It could be a quote, something you learned that month, a fun fact, netflix shows watched, books read, podcasts you listened to, etc! I drew over all the lines with my Archer and Olive paint pens. This page also comes with no titles if you want to change it up and write them in yourself.

Mood Tracker or Workouts? Bullet Journal Page

This is actually a mood tracker but I printed the no title option to make it into a workout tracker. I also track my workouts on my habit tracker but this way I can track what parts of my body that I worked out and what type of cardio I did.

1 page Vertical Weekly Bujo Page

I love 1 page spreads since it takes up less room in my journal. The vertical is great if you like to write tasks for the day like myself. I used to not use weeklies but now that they are printables I have time to use them!

2 page Weekly January Bullet Journal Page

If you like 2 page spreads this one has a ton of room for you to write. If you have bigger handwriting and/or have a lot of tasks in a day this is a great page for you.

Page 2 of 2 Page Weekly

I used three colors throughout this month. I think the simpler the better. When I first stated journaling I would use too many colors and different tones and it never looked great. I've learned less is more. The last box is blank I am using it for tasks for the week. You can also use it for another weekend day.

1 page Horizontal Weekly

If you like to write longer sentences this is a good option.

January New Years Thoughts Page

This is another page you can use for notes or thoughts or even my favorite, a vertical calendar. You can write Calendar in the header and the days of the month vertically since there are 32 spaces. Enough room for every day in the month and a space for the header. This is great for someone who likes more room to write in their calendar.

Notes or Thoughts Bujo Page Setup

I usually use this type of page for my thoughts. I like to recap things that I did throughout the month. The bottle was already printed on the page and I added the dots to make a page border.

Supplies

• The binder journal is from Ali Express but no longer available. I now use a 3 ring mini binder as they hold more pages than the 6 rings.

• Archer and Olive Paint Pens I used a red a light blue and red. I prefer the .7 tip not the 3. make sure to use code SUNFLOWERCHILD10 to get 10% off!

• New Year’s Celebration Bullet Journal Printables

• A5 Paper The pages are bright white and thick so there is no ghosting which is really important to me!

• Clear Ruler 6 and 12 inch so I can see the dot grid through ruler

• Micron Fine Liners For doodles and thin lines. I used .003 and 01 those are my favorite especially since some boxes you need to write pretty small

Printable Planner Pages
