EASY Bullet Journal Set up

Hey Sunflowers!

This month is one of my FAVES! The colors aren’t super bright yet it is still so colorful. These premade bullet journal printables makes bullet journaling a breeze. I started creating printables when I realized I just do not have time to draw every singe thing to create my planner pages. I was constantly falling behind. Even if you do not use planner printables you’re gonna get some ideas to use in your own journal! June Bullet Journal Title Page

This month I used a mix of some tombow brush pens and crayola supertips (linked below) sometimes I have a hard time mixing them because the tones are different but I found the perfect matching colors.

Cover Page and 1 Page Calendar

I like to start off the month with the bullet journal title page followed by a 1 page calendar. I added some hand drawn flowers to bring it all together. The flowers look terrible individually but as a whole I think they look cute.

1 page Calendar

The one page calendar is still big enough to write an event in each box. I used to like bigger calendars but now I prefer just writing a little smaller. The calendar is undated so you can use for any month or any year.

2 Page Calendar

This month I blended some colors together. using feather like strokes is key to blending. I like to test the colors on a separate piece of paper to make sure it is going to look good. The bottom flowers were already on the page FYI.

June Recap

This is one of my favorite pages. I try to write very specific memories instead of something vague. Instead of writing “going to the park” Something better is “riding down the slide with the baby”. The colors I used from Tombow are 772 and 991. The rest of the colors are from the Crayola Super Tips 50 pack.

Habit Tracker Printable

I like to write out all the dates for the month in pencil in the first habit the just use it as a guide during the month. Then at the end of the month I erase the pencil marks. It saves me time from writing out the dates in each box and looks better.

Favorite Memorites and Habit Tracker

I added little flowers to the right and little triangles on the left. I feel like these doodles really gives it my own flare. Even though the pages are premade there is still so much room to make it your own!

Mood Tracker Printable

I love coloring this throughout the month. To be honest I only fill it out maybe 1x a week. I do not have time to journal everyday!

Thoughts Page

Some call this a brain dump but I like to call it “thoughts”. I added all the fun summer washi tape I had on hand. How cute are the swans! I like to write about well…my thoughts! Events that I attended, funny things that happened or how I am feeling.

Notes page #2

I like to use this second “notes” page for writing down my expenses. Every month I see a trend of spending too much at TJ max. Every time I go I find myself back in the toys and kids section. I just love getting my baby a new toy and outfit!

Weekly Spread Vertical Weekly

I like to write a few words to describe that day or add some fun stickers! I rarely use the weekly each day, I usually just plan my entire week at once.

The two page allows for so much writing! It is great if you like to write down a lot of thoughts each day or have a big task list.

I always forget to write “June” in the top left box I will have to fill that in. You can add the month, the week “6-12” or just write a word to live by “believe’.

How perfect is that swan! I love coming across stickers that go perfect with these pages. I like to draw on or around the stickers to really bring it all together.

Horizontal Weekly

I like to change up my weekly spreads to keep it interesting! I also like to keep a separate journal with all my doodles and hand lettering ideas. I often stare at the page and can’t think of anything so I whip out my inspirational journal for inspo.

Supplies

The A5 binder journal is from Ali Express here. The rings are larger than most standard A5 binders so you can fit more pages in it!

Tombow Dual Brush Pens - I used color 772 and 991.
Crayola Super Tips a red, blue and and green
Tombow Small nibbed brush pen
A5 Paper The pages are bright white and thick so there is no ghosting which is really important to me!
Clear Ruler 6 and 12 inch do not always need but this is so handy
Micron Fine Liners For doodles and thin lines. I used 02 and 01 those are my favorite especially since some boxes you need to write pretty small on A5 size

I Stressed

It takes a lot of time to create a bullet journal. I started to feel over whelmed so I created stickers and pre-made bullet journal pages to help me and others out!
